The operations of cooling and abatement of fumes continue in Sassari inside Gesam, the company in the Truncu Reale area that deals with waste disposal in which a vast fire broke out last Saturday .

The firefighters of Sassari and Porto Torres, after dismantling the heaps of waste with heavy vehicles, are now busy suffocating some outbreaks that continue to burn fueled by the strong wind.

The carabinieri of the ecological operational unit of Sassari ordered the seizure of the entire area.
