A traffic accident occurred this afternoon in Marrubiu, on the road leading to the hamlet of Zuradili. A van carrying five young people collided with another vehicle, crashing into a wall and overturning.

One of the young men fared the worst, being rescued in serious condition and airlifted by ambulance. The other occupants, however, did not suffer serious injuries.

Firefighters and 118 operators intervened on site.
