Marco Antonio Guido is the new director of the Alghero hospital district.
The post, vacant since last February, was awarded today with a resolution of the extraordinary commissioner of Ats Sardegna Massimo Temussi.
Guido, formerly responsible for the Covid emergency in Northern Sardinia and director of the Public Hygiene Service of the ASL of Sassari, was the most suitable candidate to fill the role, also because so far he has managed the pandemic emergency in the north-west of Italy very well. Sardinia with mobile vaccination points, in retirement homes or directly at the home of users with serious diseases.
An action carried out in 66 municipalities in the districts of Sassari, Alghero and Ozieri.
