Maracalagonis, the investigation into the death of the pensioner closed: body returned to the family

Closed investigation into the death of the 66-year-old pensioner found yesterday dead in the "Veneziedda" area, on the outskirts of Maracalagaonis. The magistrate ordered the restitution of the body to the family for the funeral without even closing the necropsy report.

No other responsibilities were found behind the man's death. After the discovery of the body, the carabinieri of the Maracalagonis Station and the Quartu Operational Unit dealt with the affair.

The surveys were carried out on the spot under the directives of captains Michele Cerri and Gianni Russo.
