The piles of waste are growing among the Mediterranean scrub of the lands of "Canali Pisanu" in the territory of Maracalagonis and a little further ahead "Pran'e sili in the territory of Sinnai.

At "Canali Pisanu" there is everything: waste abandoned along the road with construction waste. There are asbestos, old toilets, glass bottles, roof insulation sheaths. Abandoned material especially among rockroses and strawberry trees, on land that has been uncultivated for many years.

A situation of absolute degradation in an area of extraordinary beauty from where you can also admire the Gulf of Cagliari. Along the same road, approaching "Pran'e sili", there is a lot of construction waste always hidden among the Mediterranean scrub along the road.

Landfills created years ago, which are growing despite the fact that eco-centres are open in the two nearby municipalities and despite separate waste collection guaranteed every day.

A phenomenon that damages the environment even in the neighboring hinterland municipalities.
