Mamoiada, threatens passers-by with an ax and then attacks the carabinieri: stopped with pepper spray

He wandered in the night along the streets of the center of Mamoiada brandishing an ax and threatening people . A 60-year -old local man was arrested by the Carabinieri : for him the charge is of illegal carrying of a bladed weapon, resistance, contempt and threat to a public official.

When the patrol arrived, the man also barricaded himself in the garage of his home , and after initially throwing the weapon on the ground as a sign of surrender, he then grabbed it again, rushing towards the soldiers who, to block him, handcuff him and make him harmless they had to resort to the use of pepper spray .
