Macchiareddu: A 49-year-old worker dies after a week in a coma after a car overturns on the Consortile highway.

Massimo Massa, the 49-year-old from Sarroch who was involved in a terrible accident on November 27th in Assemini, in the industrial area of Macchiareddu, did not make it .

Massa was returning from work when, around 6:30 PM, he lost control of his car on the Consortile road, overturning several times . He was immediately rescued by passing motorists, then assisted by the firefighters and 118 personnel , who, after stabilizing him, arranged for his transfer to Brotzu Hospital.

The man remained hospitalized in intensive care until yesterday morning, when unfortunately doctors had to confirm his death.
