Sea turtles like the coast of Lotzorai . A new nest has been discovered, this time on Pollu beach, a few hundred meters from the one found just three days ago in Tancau. Once again, this morning at six o'clock, the team from the naval base of the forestry corps made the great discovery, thanks to the help of a drone .

An important activity that the staff of Blon di Arbatax has been carrying out for several months and which, thanks to this precious tool, makes it possible to promptly identify the traces of the deposition, allowing to locate nests and immediately make them safe . It is the second nest discovered with a drone in a few days on the same coast. The area was then fenced off and signposted.

Also in this case the protocol was activated and Cres del Sinis, head of the regional network for the defense of marine fauna, was notified. The biologists will monitor it in collaboration with the Forestry and Environmental Surveillance Corps until the eggs hatch which will take place at the end of September . This is the third nest found on the Ogliastra coast within three weeks, the first on 9 July on Cea beach.
