Lightning strikes Sardinia: weather worsens over the weekend

A lightning storm has moved up the Sardinian Sea , reaching the south-western coasts of the island , where heavy rainfall could be recorded this evening.
However, according to forecast models, the disturbance should discharge its energy into the sea before entering inland, where isolated rains are expected.
Arpas experts for the evening underline that «more consistent cloud formations» are expected «in the eastern sector, where isolated precipitations are not excluded, even in the form of showers or thunderstorms, with weak cumulatives».
