Large fire in the Mamoiada countryside, two helicopters and a Canadair on site

A large fire broke out in the late morning in the countryside of Mamoiada , in the Sas Vaddes area . The flames, fueled by wind and dry vegetation, are affecting a large rural area.

Several firefighting teams are operating on site, engaged in containment and extinguishing the fire. Two helicopters and a Canadair have been dispatched to support the crews on the ground, conducting targeted water drops to stem the fire's spread.

Operations are still ongoing, and coordination between air assets and ground teams is ongoing in an attempt to secure the area and limit the damage.
