Laconi, flees at the carabinieri checkpoint: he had with him a rifle stolen 26 years ago

The Radiomobile of the Isili Company, with the support of the Stations, arrested a 48-year-old in Laconi for receiving stolen goods.

The man, at the patrol's stop, took to flight, trying to disappear along the country roads.

When caught and searched, he was found in possession of an over-and-under shotgun , which had been stolen in the Oristano area in July 1998 , as well as various ball and buckshot cartridges, two of which were already loaded into the gun and others found in his home.

Hence the arrest for illegal possession and carrying of weapons and ammunition. The measure adopted by the Carabinieri has already been validated by the Court of Cagliari.
