Scary road accident this afternoon on the provincial road that leads from Siniscola to La Caletta. Five people were injured in a head-on collision between a Ford Fiesta and a Mini Mino , one of them seriously.

3 ambulances arrived on site, together with the firefighters, the local police, the carabinieri and a squad car from the police station. The road remained closed for several hours to allow rescue operations.

Fortunately none of the people involved, all from Siniscola and all transported to the San Francesco hospital in Nuoro, are in danger of their lives.
