The violent argument broke out over the use of the family car at the height of which Andrea Tidu, the 27-year-old arrested on charges of aggravated voluntary manslaughter, killed his 57-year-old mother, Maria Dolores Cannas, with a stab in the back . The crime occurred yesterday afternoon in their home in via Monte Genis in Sinnai.

The autopsy
Meanwhile this afternoon the medical examiner Roberto Demontis performed an autopsy on the victim's body. The necropsy findings confirmed that the woman was hit with a single blow under the shoulder which punctured her lung, then she died from internal bleeding.
The quarrel
The soldiers of the Quartu company are working on the reconstruction of the crime, led by Captain Michele Cerri: mother and son, according to the investigations, started arguing yesterday around 4pm in the kitchen, an argument that arose because the young man wanted to take the family car without having a license. The father was in another room of the house. The argument degenerated and the 27-year-old, according to what was reconstructed by the police, grabbed a kitchen knife with a 20 centimeter blade, hitting his mother under the shoulder. The screams made the father rush into the kitchen and find his wife on the floor in a pool of blood. The man attempted to help her while waiting for the 118 doctors, while her son moved away a few hundred meters from the house: here the police found him immobile. When 118 and the Carabinieri arrived in Sinnai, the woman was still alive. Then the hemorrhage, which was fatal.
