The woman who on August 26 reported to the police the charred body of Nicola Pasquarelli, who was beaten to death in the countryside in Piandanna, has been entered in the register of suspects.

The charge for Andrea Addis, 25, is that of theft. According to the investigators, the partner of Antonio Luigi Fiori - the 48-year-old homeless arrested for the murder and concealment of the body - would not have participated in the attack but, later, would have gone to the victim's apartment with the alleged killer for steal money and credit cards.

In recent days she appeared before the investigators, assisted by the lawyers Vilia Fiorillo and Elias Vacca, and made use of the right not to answer.

Fiori, however, pleaded innocent: "He helped me by giving me money, why should I have killed him?" said the man (assisted by lawyers Elisabetta Udassi and Roberto Risi).

For the Prosecutor's Office and the mobile team, Fiori would have acted for reasons of jealousy. He couldn't bear that the 78-year-old was having an affair with his partner and allegedly killed him with a stick and then burned his body. Some useful information for the investigators could come from the autopsy on the remains of the pensioner's body, which will be carried out in the next few days.
