The first confession to the carabinieri, on the day of the capture, together with the testimonies of the neighbors and the elements collected by the investigators are sufficient and so the investigating judge Michele Contini issued the precautionary custody in prison for Sandro Sarais, 56 years of Nuraminis, accused of femicide of his partner Mihaela Kleics, a fifty-year-old Romanian massacred in the attic of via della Musica in Quartu with at least 35 stab wounds.
Sarais, defended by the lawyer Shannon Cipollina, exercised the right not to answer in the validation hearing this morning. "I'm still not well," she said from the Businco hospital bed. The prosecutor Nicoletta Mari asked for the precautionary measure in prison and in the afternoon the investigating judge issued the order.
Sarais, you have to answer for the murder of your partner. The fifty-year-old was found dead in her house in Quartu: she had been living for several months with the man, her partner. Killed with many stab wounds. Quarrels, screams and death threats were the order of the day in the attic on the third floor of the building. All the tenants reported this to the carabinieri of the Quartu company and the provincial investigative unit. And a compatriot of the victim reported the death threats that the woman suffered from Sarais: “If you leave me, I'll kill you”, the man repeated.
