In Sardinia another 46 infections and two deaths, hospitalizations still down

Another 46 coronavirus cases were detected today in Sardinia according to the latest update of the Crisis Unit.

With 1,284 people tested and 1,604 molecular and antigenic swabs processed, the positivity rate stands at 2.86 percent.

Two other people have lost their lives in the last 24 hours, they are two men of 74 and 77 years living in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari.

The pressure on hospitals is still decreasing: there are 17 patients in intensive care, one less than yesterday's figure. On the other hand, 146 people are hospitalized in the medical area, down by two units compared to 24 hours ago.

Other 2,464 Sardinians are in home isolation, 51 fewer than yesterday.
