The Claudia Marss & Gospel Italian Singers tour will stop in Paulilatino . In fact, next Monday 19 December at 21 , the Grazia Deledda Theater will host one of the most awaited Christmas concerts in the gospel field and beyond. The singer will be joined by 8 singers and 3 musicians directed by Maestro Francesco Finizio .

Claudia Marss, born in Salvador di Bahia in Brazil, is a singer and composer , known for her supple and expressive voice. Marss finds in the fusion of Brazilian popular music with Afro-American music the ideal fertile field to express her great interpretative strength. In 1986 he won the Troféu Caymmi Award for best emerging performer while in 1988 he took part in his tour in Brazil with Gilberto Gil.

In 1989 he arrived in Italy and since then he has participated in various festivals including "Roma Jazz Fest", "International Festival for Peace in Assisi", "Euritmia Jazz Festival" and "Jazz Time del Brass Group". Since 1996 he has also dedicated himself to gospel collaborating with various groups and performing in theaters and festivals throughout Italy, including "Gospel in the Easter Time" and "Rassegna Gospel" in Bibiena. Claudia Marss has also appeared on RAI in the programs "Ricomincio da due", "Mestiere di Vivere" and "Pacem in Terris".

In Carlo Verdone's film "Cursed the day I met you" the Brazilian singer sings one of the themes of the soundtrack featured in the Roman actor's film. But a fundamental step of
Claudia Marss was registered in October 2004 when she was chosen by Nicola Piovani as soloist in the "Stabat Mater-La Pietà" , set to music by Piovani himself on a text by Vincenzo Cerami. Alongside the
singer, Gigi Proietti and Rita Cammarano.

Today Claudia Marss , among other things, teaches singing, voice setting, breathing technique,
improvisation and style and interpretation
in the field of Brazilian music. Not only that, it recently also has
started a Brazilian music workshop addressed to all musicians, presenting it in the best schools
of music throughout Italy.
