In Nureci everyone is racing against autism and breast cancer, in Gonnosnò we talk about banditry with Annino Mele

Many initiatives, in the second weekend of December, in the territory of the Municipalities of the Due Giare Consortium.

In Nureci on Sunday 11 December the Pro loco and the secretary general of the SILPCGIL police union of Oristano, Daniele Rocchi, with the collaboration of the municipal administration and the mayor Emanuel Atzori propose the first edition of " Nureci Corre per l'autismo e la lotta against breast cancer ”, an initiative also supported by the nearby municipalities of Senis and Assolo , led respectively by the first citizens Salvatore Soi and Giuseppe Minnei. "The message is to pay attention to inclusion , to the weakest or towards fragile people", explain the mayor of Nureci, the president of the Pro loco Monica Putzu and the general secretary of the SILP of Oristano Daniele Rocchi. "The event - they continue - pursues social, recreational and sporting objectives , with a view to promoting sport as an ethical, social, aggregation value in the name of legality , equality and respect for the rules , but above all inclusion social situation of subjects with disabilities , as well as the closeness towards women affected by breast cancer". The departure is scheduled at 9.30 from the town hall : 17 kilometers for the run, 10 kilometers for the walk, in a route among the most evocative paths of Marmilla. At the end a convivial moment between athletes, walkers and their families . The event will also be attended by representatives of the Paralympic sport , the common disability , the association "Le Belle Donne" of Oristano who have been on the front line for years to support the fight and prevention against breast cancer. But also several associations and cooperatives that work with patients with autism, including Sea Scout and Luna Blu, who will be the spokesperson for a sport open to all , without any exclusions . Still among the witnesses of sport, closeness to autism and the fight against breast cancer, a representation of champions of the Fiamme Oro of the State Police .

During the event, there will also be an exhibition of vintage cars , typical sweets and the extraordinary opening of the House Museum .

In Gonnosnò , on Saturday 10 December, in the council chamber of the former Town Hall, in via Matteotti, a meeting with Annino Mele entitled “ The Brand of the Bandit ” is scheduled for 6 pm. Mele will talk to Antonio Deiola and will talk about his experiences well described in two of his two volumes: "The brand of the Bandit" and "Probomines". The initiative is organized by the Municipality and the Gramsciana Library with the support of the Due Giare Consortium.

Annino Mele is among the protagonists of the banditry season in Sardinia , which starts from the early seventies. For some decades he has undertaken the activity of writer, literary reworking his own experiences and those of others. «With “Probòmines” Mele offers materials and ideas for a reflection on the theme of justice», explained Giuseppe Manias of the Gramsciana Library, «this time his story is twofold. On the one hand a completely barbaric story, of murders, suspicions, desire for revenge, on the other the re-enactment of his capture and his role in a delicate phase of the kidnapping of a young woman in the late 1980s. Characters, imaginary and otherwise, serve the author to give substance to his thesis of restorative justice which in traditional Sardinian society, and beyond, has since time immemorial been recomposing fractures between individuals, reconciling family groups and entire communities". «It will be another beautiful cultural and socializing afternoon for our community», the words of the mayor Ignazio Peis.
