« Aldo Scardella was the victim of an evident judicial error . He was 25 years old. He was accused of being the perpetrator of a brutal murder linked to the robbery of the Bevimarket in via dei Donoratico in Cagliari. On July 2, 1986, he took his own life in prison. After his death, a few years later, the Prosecutor's Office managed to identify and convict the true perpetrators of the crime."

The lawyer Patrizio Rovelli recalls an exemplary case that he would like to make become an integral part of the collective memory with the "Osservatorio per la Giustizia" association, of which he is president. The petition, promoted by Opg, in collaboration with "Associazione Socialismo, Diritti, Riforma", to name the great hall of the Palace of Justice of Cagliari after Aldo Scardella , is about to reach a thousand signatures.
