In Mandas the honorary citizenship to the displaced Giampiero Poledrini

The Municipal Council of Mandas , on the occasion of the feast of the grandparents, gave honorary citizenship to Giampiero Poledrini, displaced in Mandas from 1 March 1943 until the end of May 1945 and author of a memoir that tells the community of the center of high Trexenta of those years. "It was a very important day for our community - said the mayor Umberto Oppus - an opportunity to welcome the memories of places, people and landscapes of a unique Mandas: that of hospitality".

Sa festa de Is Aiaus 2022 (the grandparents' day) was promoted by the municipal administration in collaboration with the comprehensive institute Maria Carta di Mandas, the Acli section, the Cif, the Kreos association and the Pro loco.
