Two illegal slots discovered and a huge fine for the owner of the business where they were placed.

This is what happened in Villacidro after the checks carried out by officials of the Customs and Monopolies Agency (ADM) on duty in Sardinia.

The two slots , in particular, were not connected to the ADM electronic network but were connected to the internet and to various gaming platforms and were managed directly by the owner of the business through an application inserted on his smartphone. The man checked the games and any winnings on the App which were paid directly to the cashier through a dedicated fund , in total tax evasion .

The maxi fine issued by the officials, amounting to a reduced amount of 22 thousand euros, provides for the closure of the business for a period of 30 to 60 days in the event of non-payment, in addition to the confiscation of the devices and any sums contained therein.
