Iglesias, fire in the basement of a building: all tenants evacuated

Fire in the basement of a building in Iglesias, in via Lao Silesu.

The Fire Brigade of the Iglesias detachment intervened on the spot.
The operators went into the basement to put out the flames which involved the storage of plastic materials, household goods and old appliances.
At the end of the extinguishing operations, they secured the structure and stairwell, letting out the smoke with an electric fan. Then they started the investigations to establish the causes of the fire.
As a precaution, all the tenants were evacuated from the apartments in the building.
