A poacher ended up in handcuffs during an operation by the Forestry Corps .

The men of the Investigative Nucleus of the Territorial Service of Cagliari have sighted it several times in the areas of Monte Linas, Arburese and the Scivu Oasis, rich in fauna .

At first they thought he was a hunter, but following investigations they found that he did not have any firearms license.

For this they stopped the man for a check, near Gonnosfanadiga. And from his car, hidden in a compartment in the back seat, a weapon, a semi-automatic shotgun and various ammunition emerged.

Then the search of the arrested person's home was also triggered. Here, inside a large refrigerator, the remains of a Sardinian deer were found, recently killed and already butchered and divided into various parcels . Meat from a wild boar and a hare were also discovered in the same freezer.

Also during the search , another rifle, ammunition and 600 grams of cannabis were also found.

Further investigations made it possible to ascertain that the weapons found in the man's car and home were of stealthy origin.

The man was then arrested and taken to Uta prison. The series of crimes for which he will have to answer is long: in addition to hunting, he risks being challenged for receiving stolen goods, carrying and illegal possession of weapons and ammunition and detention for the purpose of drug dealing.
