A drug courier from Genoa was arrested in Porto Torres after disembarking from the ferry. The man, of Nigerian origin, ended up in the meshes of the controls put in place by the Finance Police.

When he was stopped, the Yellow Flames immediately had the suspicion that he was a "bodypacker", an "ovulatory" courier. Drug dogs Karma and Fred persistently reported the traveler's hand luggage and inspection revealed 99 heroin and cocaine eggs hidden in a bottle of bubble bath. The drug, quantified in 1.3 kg of heroin and 300 grams of cocaine, was subjected to seizure.

The man, also to avoid risks to his health, was accompanied to the hospital in Sassari to be subjected to tests which ruled out that he had other drugs in his body.

Finally, the arrest and translation at the Bancali prison took place.

The drug, appropriately cut, if placed on the market would have yielded over 500,000 euros.
