Yesterday the macabre discovery in Porto Torres , with a hedgehog massacred and decapitated in a parking lot near the maritime station . A brutal gesture, which has unleashed the anger of animal welfare associations. And now they go in search of the culprit .

The Lndc Animal Protection has also moved, which has filed a complaint against unknown persons and which is now launching an appeal to find the perpetrator: "I cannot imagine", says the president Piera Rosati, "how such a cold and ruthless mind acted with such so much violence and cruelty massacring in this way, and for no reason, an animal as small as it is defenseless. Anyone who commits such a gesture is frightening and should scare the whole community of Porto Torres, because such a person», he adds, « could still commit crimes against another or more animals, without excluding the possibility of equally violent actions against individuals ».

This is why the association does not intend to stop there: «A crime of this kind», explains Rosati, «cannot and must not go unpunished. It is necessary to do justice and find the culprit at all costs ». Hence the invitation to anyone with information on what happened to come forward, in an attempt to give a name and a face to whoever committed the bad act.
