Serious head-on accident this afternoon on the Sp 31, between Sorgono and Austis.

Around 2pm , the 10A team of the Sorgono detachment intervened at kilometre 4,300 for a crash involving a high-powered motorbike and a car travelling in the opposite direction.

The motorcyclist fared the worst: he was transported to the hospital aboard the Areus helicopter rescue.

On site, in addition to the 118 rescuers, the Tonara Carabinieri also intervened to establish the dynamics and carry out surveys.
