Head-on accident on the Sant'Antioco bridge: an engineer dies

A 50-year-old engineer, Alessandro Valdes, originally from Sant'Antioco but resident in Selargius, died in the head-on accident between his Audi and a Citroen Picasso: his car overturned several times.
The lane invasion may have been triggered by an illness, but the causes are still to be ascertained.
118 ambulances and firefighters are on site.
The other motorist, a forty-four year old born in Turin, was rescued and transported to Sirai under code red - due to dynamics.
