He had a knife, she had marijuana. A couple got into trouble last night when they were stopped by Carabinieri from the Gonnesa station along Provincial Road 83.

During the identification process, the two young men's behavior prompted the officers to conduct a search. The driver, a 27-year-old from Capoterra, was found in possession of a switchblade with a 10-centimeter blade.

The passenger, a 24-year-old from Iglesias, was found in possession of approximately 10 grams of marijuana and 1.76 grams of hashish.

The young man was charged with unauthorized possession of weapons or instruments capable of causing harm, while the girl was reported for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.
