Surprised after stealing from parked cars, a 42-year-old from Cagliari was arrested by the agents of the flying squad of Cagliari.

It happened around 5 this morning, when a crew, passing through via Campeda, noticed a man walking along via Abruzzi holding a car seat and a swollen shopping bag in his hand.

The agents then decided to stop him and carry out a check: one policeman tried to reach him on foot while the other, driving the service car, quickly went around the block. When the man found himself in front of the steering wheel he threw what he was holding in his hands between the parked cars without realizing, however, that the other policeman was behind him.

Therefore, both the seat and the envelope were recovered, inside which there were 4 car mats, a screwdriver and a LED flashlight.

With the intervention of other crews, a careful survey of the cars parked in the neighboring streets was carried out, finding two vehicles, one of recent registration, with damaged windows and the passenger compartment rummaged through.

Conducted to the police station, the 42-year-old, with numerous police records, was arrested and detained for the time necessary to be conducted in a courtesy procedure.
