He stole a gold necklace from his roommate and ran to sell it to a Gold Buyer in Cagliari. But the Villanova carabinieri discovered and reported him in a state of freedom.
The theft of the object worth about 800 euros was the subject of a complaint by the owner, a 26-year-old from Muravera, who had noticed the disappearance which took place on 10 August in her room in the shared apartment. That same day, the roommate, a 24-year-old from San Nicolò Gerrei, went to a Gold Buyer and sold the necklace for 450 euros. The shopkeeper had correctly documented the transaction. And from the simple exhibition of the photographic reproduction of the stolen goods it was possible to identify who had acted. The object was very particular and clearly distinguishable from many others.
The military was able to recover the necklace by subjecting it to criminal evidence.
