He falls into a 12-meter deep well in Serrenti: saved by the fire brigade

A man in Serrenti fell into a well about 12 meters deep.

The 78-year-old was doing some work in a private courtyard when he slipped off a ladder. The request for help arrived at around 6.30 pm to the Fire Brigade who sent the 7A team from the Sanluri detachment, the Saf team (speleo alpine river) and the divers nucleus of the Cagliari port detachment to the place.

The operators lowered themselves into the well, recovered the victim - who had mild hypothermia - and entrusted him to the 118 staff to check his health. It is not life threatening.
