Two years ago, in August 2022, the Police Chief of Cagliari had issued a ban on him from re-entering the national territory following some crimes committed.
But the man, a thirty-year-old Algerian, got back on a small boat and returned to Sardinia.
The agents of the Flying Squad of the Cagliari Police Headquarters discovered it yesterday in the reception center of Monastir, during the identification procedures of the migrants who landed in the previous hours on the coast of Sulcis.
The thirty-year-old was thus arrested and accompanied to the CPR of Macomer to start the procedures aimed at expulsion and repatriation.
