For months now he used to abandon his rubbish on the side of the road that runs from Assemini towards Sestu . Scattered envelopes, with unsorted waste of all kinds. But this time the "crafty" waste was identified, fined and forced to collect what he had abandoned on the side of the road.

"Unfortunately he was a repeat offender but thanks to the excellent work of the traffic police and the barrage company we managed to find him", says the mayor of Assemini Mario Puddu . “By now it had become an untenable situation. In this case the fine will reach up to 500 euros, he will pay it tomorrow », continues the mayor.

This time, however, in addition to the fine, there was also a "novelty": the offender was asked to clean up the road . "Obviously it was not an invitation, there is a law that provides for it ", concludes Puddu. To frame the "crafty" not stalking but the contents of the envelopes, inspected by the police. Furthermore, the installation of new cameras is planned in the municipal area to counter incivility and act as a deterrent.
