Hailstorm in Burcei, streets covered in snow

The final blow of the wave of bad weather that is hitting eastern and central-northern Sardinia.

After a difficult night due to rain and strong gusts of wind that knocked down some trees, this morning the streets in Burcei were covered in white by a hailstorm.

"It was a troubled night with some damage caused by bad weather," explains Mayor Simone Monni, "I would like to thank the Vab Sinnai Sarda Ambiente association for their great commitment and presence on the territory throughout the night. Also, a special mention goes to our fellow citizens Riccardo Mucelli and Omar Baccoli who made themselves available, given the urgency, to lend a hand voluntarily and with their own means and for this I thank them publicly."
