The 20 cm long bomb, apparently from the Second World War, was rusty and in poor condition. The area was therefore cordoned off and manned by the Guasila military.
The anti-sabotage bomb squads of the investigative unit of the operational department of the provincial command of Cagliari intervened on the spot: from their analyzes it emerged that it was an inert 75 mm caliber armor-piercing cannon shell from 1945.
The object was therefore recovered and deposited in the Carabinieri station of Guasila for disposal.
