Saturday 19 October in Gonnosnò a day together to discover the archaeological heritage of the territory, organized as part of the 2024 enhancement plan, entitled "The Sacred Well of San Salvatore and the giants' tombs of Is Lapideddas", organized by ABAP (Superintendency of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape) and the Municipality.

From 10:30 the recent conservative restoration interventions of the place will be presented. In addition to the mayor Ignazio Peis, there will also be Maura Vargiu and Riccardo Locci, archaeologists of ABAP, Elena Romoli, architect ABAP, and Federica Zedda, archaeologist.

"We will officially present the site - comments Mayor Peis - and the recovery intervention will be explained. In addition, the finds that were found in the excavation campaigns of previous years will be shown". After the presentation, there will also be the possibility of visiting the sacred well and the giants' tombs. "After years in which it was in a state of abandonment, we are returning - concludes Peis - a jewel not only to the community of Gonnosnò but to the entire territory".
