His name was Gabriel Manuel Montis, he was 39 years old and lived in Settimo San Pietro, the fisherman who died this morning in the sea of Capo Malfatano, in Teulada, during a fishing trip.
Montis, a security guard, was with a friend, busy throwing himself from the rocks, when he was overwhelmed by a wave that dragged him out to sea and to the bottom.
The request for help from those who were with him was immediate, but when he was recovered by the Coast Guard, his body was lifeless: unfortunately, the presence of a 118 crew was useless.
The thirty-nine-year-old was a sort of “influencer” in the world of shore fishing, a practice of which he was very expert: his social profile is dotted with preys and explanations of the equipment used. And his followers were over 122 thousand.
