Fugitive since September: discovered and arrested in Baressa

In September he had received a prison order for numerous convictions from various courts, but he was a fugitive. Today, a forty-four-year-old resident of Masullas was tracked down and arrested: he will have to serve four years and eleven months in prison, with a fine of 5,000 euros.
Over the years, the repeat offender had been responsible for the crimes of aggravated theft, receiving stolen goods, fraud and possession for the purpose of drug dealing . Reason for which the Palermo Prosecutor's Office had issued the prison order.
The investigations of the Flying Squad of the Oristano Police Headquarters have ascertained that for some months he had been living undisturbed in Marmilla, resident in Masullas. The investigators identified him by following the traces left by one of his phones, tracked him down in Baressa and arrested : he is now in prison in Massama.
