A trip from Osilo to Sassari to reach the Osilo granny Pietruccia Sole and celebrate with her the important milestone of one hundred years. So the deputy mayor of Osilo, Patrizia Puggioni, and the councilor Salvatore Manca went to Sassari to offer her the most joyful wishes and to give her a commemorative plaque on behalf of the entire municipal administration, led by the mayor Giovanni Ligios.

"Yes, because the long journeys that life can offer must always be celebrated ," they said.

Maria Francesca Fantato, councilor of the Municipality of Sassari, her adopted city, also participated in the pleasant meeting with the centenarian.

It was a great party, together with relatives and close family members, to celebrate the achievement of the wonderful milestone of one hundred years. In front of a large cake and colored balloons, many memories and recollections of past moments, of joy and also of difficulties, overcome with determination and character by those who lived with enthusiasm and strength, offering an example for the younger ones, for those who have lived other realities.
