The remains of Francesca Deidda have been found. The search teams, who since yesterday have been supported by the nose of molecular dogs arriving from Bologna, have found the body of the woman who disappeared from San Sperate in the first half of May.

The discovery was made near the Roman bridge of the old Orientale, in the territory of San Vito, close to the road, on the side of the Rio Picocca, on the upstream side of the river: it is the area in which in recent days some personal effects of the forty-two year old: a dental tray, a bathrobe and the remains of a sweatshirt.
The discovery occurred thanks to the scent of one of the molecular dogs that arrived in recent days from Bologna: according to what we learn, the body was partially inside a large bag, at the foot of a tree.

Tomorrow the task will be given to the medical examiner Roberto Demontis - who is already on his way to the scene - to carry out the autopsy, which will also be able to reveal how the woman died. Or, according to investigators, how she was killed.

This morning in prison a new interrogation took place of her husband, Igor Sollai, 43, accused of murder and concealment of a corpse: after a few hours it was suspended and will resume on Monday. According to what transpires, he still rejected any responsibility.
