"I can't understand what I've done, it seems impossible to me." He said this in front of his lawyers (Carlo Demurtas and Laura Pirarba) and then to the prosecutor (Marco Cocco) Igor Sollai, 43 years old, in prison on charges of aggravated voluntary homicide and concealment of a corpse for having killed and hidden the body of his wife, Francesca Deidda, 42 years old, who disappeared from San Sperate on May 10th.

Sollai spoke yesterday, during the long confession yesterday in the prison of Uta . Four hours in which the forty-three year old confirmed every single element in dispute.

"We were contacted by Mr. Sollai," explain the lawyers Demurtas and Pirarba, "who after a deep reflection and a series of discussions with us, during which we examined all the results, decided to make a full confession. The first interrogation lasted about four hours, but in the coming weeks there will be further appointments to define every aspect."

Sollai, from what we understand, focused on how the crime occurred, confirming that he killed his wife with a hammer. Then he spoke about hiding the body. But not only that. Pressed by questions, he also focused on the elements relating to what he did after hiding his wife's body. The interrogation, which began in the late afternoon and ended at night, will resume in the coming weeks. On that occasion, Sollai will most likely talk about the motive.
