The investigations into the death of Francesca Deidda continue.
After the confirmation - arrived thanks to the DNA tests carried out by the Ris carabinieri - that the remains found along the Vecchia Orientale Sarda belong to the 42-year-old from San Sperate who disappeared last May, the results of the autopsy are now awaited, which they will have to give to the investigators information on the causes of death.
The report will be carried out by the medical examiner Roberto Demontis, with the support of two experts appointed by prosecutor Marco Cocco, head of the investigation: a forensic anthropologist and an entomologist. The results are expected by the end of the month.
Meanwhile, the woman's husband, Igor Sollai, remains in prison on charges of murder and concealment of a corpse.
"We hope that our son is innocent," say the man's parents.
