Four off-road vehicles on the shore of Cartoe beach: tourists fined

With off-road vehicles on the seashore, complete with a table set up for breakfast. But it is strictly forbidden.

First warm and first uncivilized of the season in Sardinia. Four vehicles were discovered this morning in Cartoe by the men of the Dorgali Forestry station, who, following a citizen's report, intervened with the personnel of the Siniscola naval base and the Environmental and Forestry Police Investigation Unit.

The owners, tourists from Eastern Europe, were fined for violations of the regulations set out in the bathing ordinance and the highway code, which prohibit access, transit and parking of vehicles on the beaches.
