Road accident on state road 387, near Sant'Andrea Frius.

According to what has been reconstructed , a 60-year-old motorcyclist resident in the city hit a flock of sheep that were on the road with his BMW GS, killing one of them. In the impact he lost control of the vehicle and ended up against a Renault Megane driven by a 25-year-old resident of Villasalto, who was proceeding in the opposite direction.

The motorcyclist was immediately rescued by Senorbì 118 personnel and transported under code red to Brotzu. Fortunately, his life is not in danger.

The sheep involved in the accident were found to be owned by a local farmer.

The soldiers of the Carabinieri Station of Gesico are on site, with the support of the patrol of the San Nicolò Gerrei Station. Investigations underway.
