Yet another blaze broke out in Sardinia this afternoon in Bosa, where a fire grazed the town center. The flames started around 4:20 PM from the road, in the S'Ancaturra area, near the Castello ring road. Driven by the wind, they moved toward the top of the hill, brushing against residential areas and threatening a hotel.

As the Municipality wrote on social media, "The Forestas teams from Bosa, Tresnuraghes, Montresta, and Scano Montiferro intervened on site, along with the Barracellari Companies from the Municipalities of Bosa, Modolo, and Scano Montiferro, coordinated by staff from the Bosa Forestry Station."

Firefighters arrived on site and guarded the accommodation facility. At around 5:20 PM, firefighting and clearing operations began in the area using a helicopter from the Santa Maria di Bosa base, which had previously been deployed on another mission. The municipal Civil Protection Department, led by Deputy Mayor Federico Ledda, also worked on the scene. The clearing operations concluded around 6:45 PM.
