A looting with devastation during the night between Tuesday and Wednesday . In the night just passed, instead, a failed intrusion. There are still no certainties, but it is not excluded that they could be connected to the criminal episodes against the Fiamma 2000 distributors on the State Road 130, in the territory of Domusnovas.

Two days ago the owners had a nasty surprise: the windows of the service stations had been smashed, the shutters forced and someone had entered the refreshment point of the one on the road towards Iglesias and destroyed everything. In the other, with the diner, the damage had been less, but still significant.

There was no time to fully recover when the intruder alarm of one of the two businesses sounded again this night. This time, however, the Carabinieri of the Radiomobile of Iglesias rushed to the scene. A Peugeot was parked behind the service station. The driver, at the sight of the patrol, tried to escape in the car. A chase began, which ended in Domusnovas, in the center, when the out-of-control vehicle crashed into a low wall.

The driver was a forty-one-year-old from the town, who was also found in possession of non-significant quantities of cocaine and marijuana. So in addition to the arrest for resisting a public official, the report to the Prefecture was also triggered for drug use.

But the investigation may not be over.
