More fires are raging on the island. On Saturday morning, the Forestry Corps responded to two fires, one in the countryside of the municipality of Narbolia, in the Su Zippiri area, with the support of a helicopter from the Fenosu operations base.
The second fire broke out in the countryside of the Municipality of Morgongiori, in the Is Benas area. Two helicopters responded to this fire, including the Super Puma, which took off from Fenosu and Sorgono. Two other helicopters from the regional fleet, from the Fenosu and Iglesias bases, were also requested. A Canadair aircraft was also requested.
