Fires erupt in the Gonnosfanadiga countryside: two Forestry Corps helicopters take to the skies.

This afternoon, flames broke out in the countryside of Gonnosfanadiga , in the C. Ortu area , where the Forestry Corps is engaged in extinguishing operations with the support of a helicopter from the Iglesias base. The evolution of the fire necessitated the deployment of a second aircraft from the Fenosu base. The director of firefighting operations from the Villacidro forestry station is coordinating the operations on site.

Two more fires broke out during the day. A helicopter from the Limbara base intervened in Calangianus , in the S. Buscinu area, coordinated by the DOS (Special Operations Command) of the Monti forestry station.

A third fire affected the Mores area, in the R. Benadilesi area, where a helicopter from the Anela base intervened under the coordination of the DOS of the Ozieri forestry station.
