A big fire in fact broke out in the early afternoon in the countryside of Ozieri , in the locality of Fraigas.
"The fire has just been extinguished and the countryside reclaimed with a particular liquid. - explains the mayor of Ozieri Marco Peralta -. The flames hit over 200 hectares of land, fueled by a hot and tense wind . But there was a prompt mobilization of firefighters, barracelli, civil protection and local police from Ozieri, which regulated the traffic (reopened at 5 pm). Three Canadair, three helicopters and a Super Puma operated from above. Luckily they were not affected from the flames neither houses nor animals ".
