The firefighters intervened this morning in Maracalagonis , in via Dante, for a fire that broke out in an apartment due to a short circuit in the bathroom socket.

An 84-year-old woman was rescued , who was inside the house with another person. The elderly woman was intoxicated after breathing in the smoke that quickly invaded her home.

On site the 118 operators and a team of firefighters. The area is being cleaned up, the causes of the accident are yet to be determined.
